]]>Hugh Grant and Ashely Graham gave a whole new meaning to the word “cringe” with an awkward exchange on Oscar’s red carpet that left the internet divided.
The field for the best supporting actress was pretty crowded this year, and the viewers weren’t happy with the outcome. Front-runner Angela Bassett missed out on the Oscar once again and her reaction spoke volumes.
We’ve seen several dramatic dresses at the Oscars this year, but Tems’ Lever Couture gown caused the most commotion because its dramatic headpiece obscured the view for everyone around her.
We can count on every major award show to give us a meme-worthy reaction image that we’ll be using for years to come, and that honor belonged to Andrew Garfield this time around.
Ke Huy Quan gave us several viral moments this award season, but nothing beats “Mom, I just won an Oscar” from his acceptance speech at the Oscars.

]]>Nowadays, you see celebrities on billboards, magazine covers, and social media posts. This is how they will be remembered several centuries from now. However, if they had lived in the 17th century and had the same popularity, they would have been immortalized in the form of a painting.
Following this idea, Kyès is sending the likes of Mike Tyson, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Scarlet Johansson, and other celebs on a journey back in time. The subjects of these works remain faithful to their present-day look in only their most basic features. ]]>“I am sure you all are seeing what I am seeing, COVID 19 rates in the USA are rising at a truly scary rate. One thing I know for sure is that there’s a very easy way each of us can help, and that’s to #WearaDamnMask whenever we are in public.
#WearaDamnMask because we want to protect ourselves and, even more importantly, we want to protect others
#WearaDamnMask because clearly, the doctors and data say we are not going to beat this pandemic unless we each do our part to get rid of it
#WearaDamnMask because is it not a political issue, it is an issue of saving lives
#WearaDamnMask because it is the only way to keep our most vulnerable safe and the only way to get our economy back on track,” Burch’s Instagram post reads.
She also tagged other celebrities to accept the challenge and so far, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kerry Washington, Samira Nasr, Jennifer Aniston, Marisa Tomei, Matthew A. Cherry, Mindy Kaling, and Reese Witherspoon have gotten involved in the cause.
Here are just a few of the many celebrities who have taken part in the challenge and why they choose to wear a mask. Remember, the best way to prevent the pandemic from getting worse is to wear a mask when you’re in public places.

Inspired by art and with a passion for the Renaissance period, she’s also driven by a healthy dose of competitiveness “Honestly, what inspires me is just impressing my parents, you know, my parents are African, so they’re not really into the whole fashion thing,” she told NBGA. “But obviously, they’ve definitely seen growth and it’s exciting when I can tell them things that have happened that they actually know about, or like working with platforms they’re familiar with, that’s always really exciting and it pushes me to do even better.”
Talking with NBGA about her artistic background, she recalled that while growing up in Nigeria she used to make clothes for her dolls from traditional fabrics her mother had. “And yeah, it’s something I’ve always been interested in and kind of done,” she says. “It’s not something I woke up one day and was like ‘I’m going to make clothes now.’ But I’ve always been really into clothes.”
