Netflix’s hit show Wednesday has plenty of great moments that make it an instant classic. Still, the most memorable scene has to be the one in which the main character Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) dances to The Cramps’ “Goo Goo Muck” at Nevermore’s Rave’N Dance. The scene proved so popular that it was turned into a massive challenge on TikTok.
Countless TikTok users have been recreating the Wednesday dance scene lately, including some celebrities. The list includes Kim Kardashian, Camila Cabello, and as of recently, pop superstar Lady Gaga. Gaga’s addition to the list is particularly interesting since many users actually used her 2011’s hit “Bloody Mary” as a soundtrack instead of the original song.
Gaga’s recreation of Wednesday’s dance moves was an instant hit, surging past 12 million views in a matter of weeks. It shows the “Poker Face” singer putting on her Wednesday costume before breaking into the dance routine while a speed-up version of “Bloody Mary” is playing in the background. Produced by legendary director Tim Burton, Wednesday follows the titular character as she attempts to solve a murder mystery at her school. The show was a success with critics and audiences since debuting in November, prompting Netflix to order a second season.
