There was a point in time when Need for Speed was one of the biggest video game franchises. It was a pure joy to take a stock car, customize it in all sorts of crazy ways, and then take it for a spin against virtual opponents. While that certainly isn’t the case anymore due to the release of several titles with questionable quality, the upcoming Need for Speed Unbound might be a turning point for the better.

The game’s publisher EA certainly thinks so as they decided to take the promotional activities for NFS Unbound to the next level. That included building rapper A$AP Rocky’s custom car from the game, based on Mercedes-Benz 190E, in real life.

A$AP Rocky is prominently involved in Need for Speed Unbound, being featured as one of its characters, having its own game mode, and doing the soundtrack for the game. He also gave creative inputs to the designers, including taking part in designing a car for his character.

The “Everyday” rapper opted for Mercedes-Benz 190E in a split black-and-white point job. Among the car’s features are gold grills, “X” taped headlights, and “Alway$ $trive and Pro$per” and “If Not Now Then When” slogans written on front doors.

Need for Speed Unbound is scheduled for release on December 2nd. It comes out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC.
