]]>On his Instagram page, Lotia claims he makes music with LEGO, but this is only partially true. After realizing he doesn’t have enough pieces in his collection to accomplish what he wanted, he started using the digital building software BrickLink Studio to render LEGO elements in any color.
“I picked up digital construction using BrickLink Studio along the way, and absolutely love how much freedom, flexibility, and speed it provides to LEGO artists. I hope that designers continue to explore the capabilities of this fantastic (and free!) resource in the future,” Lotia told Loudwire.
He initially made LEGO models based on movies and TV shows before deciding to explore his love for music this way. He used to play grunge in a high school band during his teenage years, but his taste significantly changed over time and he’s a fan of many different genres.
His LEGO music covers reflect that, and we’ve seen him pay homage to everyone from iconic rock bands such as Pink Floyd and Radiohead to modern artists including Beyonce and The Weeknd.

Nowadays, Edlen’s main focus is portraits of celebrities like actors and musicians on vinyl. He makes his best effort not to use records that still have some life in them and prefers to paint on those that are damaged or worn out. He finds them in antique and record shops, while in some cases, his customers provide the “canvas” themselves.
“I create these pieces to celebrate the object and the subject, to pay tribute to the cultural contribution of the music, and to spark conversation and questions,“ the artist shares on his website.

]]>Hegstrom told The Dodo that Kovo has been singing since he was a puppy and started howling. “Kovu certainly has a personality — he is sassy, loving, caring and definitely vocal. His voice allows him to show so many different emotions depending on his mood.”
Whenever he starts playing his guitar, the husky joins in. To cheer frontline workers up and raise their spirits, Hegstrom decided to dedicate a song to them and Kovu jumped in at the opportunity to sing along! They sang “Lean on Me,” with Kovu howling along to the song.
“During a time when being physically together as a community is difficult, people resort to finding community online,” Hegstrom said. “I think during this time, a video with a cute puppy who can sing a song with an uplifting message is something people needed, and it’s given people a smile.”

Camacho, a 24-year-old singer-songwriter from New York City, posts the videos in a kind of tutorial format. First, she introduces who she will be singing like today, and then she provides her viewers with three easy steps of how to emulate the voice in question.
We then watch her perform the three steps, and true enough, each time, she recreates perfectly the singer of her choice! It’s amazing to see how Camacho can take literally singer and mimic their voice pretty much exactly. If you didn’t know it was an impersonator, you’d think it was the real thing!
What we love about Camacho is that she is not only incredibly talented, but she also delivers her lessons with a real comic wit. Best of all, she does her impressions with nothing but love for the singers she is impersonating—she is a huge fan of them personally. No shade here!

]]>An independent artist with no label, Trench has been playing the guitar for over 20 years. His instruments include the Acoustic, Electric and Classical Guitar, as well as Harp, Piano, Drums, Harmonica, Accordion, Banjo, Ukulele, Mandolin, Glockenspiel, Kalimba, Violin, and Cello. His loyal furry sidekick, Maple, sometimes plays along on the drums.
#tbt“I started with an electric guitar when I was about 8, but I didn’t take the instrument that seriously until I was 12-13 when I bought an acoustic guitar,” writes Trench on his personal website. “Aside from a few basic guitar/piano lessons, I’m self taught with all the instruments I play. I learned to read sheet music and would spend hours every day sight reading anything I could find online. Learning a lot of classical/flamenco music helped develop my Fingerstyle guitar techniques.”
While Trench decided to stay anonymous (“I never wanted to be famous so I prefer for the focus to be on the music, the instrument,” he writes), Maple – a mixed breed with part Border Collie, Golden Retriever and Shetland Sheepdog – is the real star of the show. More recently, the band has been joined by the newest addition to the family – rescue pup named Cherry.
Adopted from a rescue shelter, she’s very shy and timid as she had a tough life living on the streets. With lots of love and patience she’s learning to trust again and she has become very attached to Maple, she follows her everywhere! As she can be quite shy I’m not sure how often she will be included in my posts for now, but I wanted to share her with you guys
