]]>This Instagram page was founded by two best friends, who knew each other from high school, and it attracted over 400,000 followers since 2019. The creative duo bonded over a similar sense of humor, and they started creating comics by each other’s side after realizing they share a love for Greek mythology.
The duo mostly focuses on making fun of Greek mythology in their comics, but they’re no strangers to adding pop culture references to the mix, paying homage to everything from Disney movies to Harry Potter and Game of Thrones.
We’ve seen many Greek gods make their way into these comics, from Zeus to Hades, but the three-headed dog Cerberus, known as Cerbie in the comics, is their biggest star.
“At first it was mostly just 1-off jokes, but after a while, we decided to do full stories spreading over multiple comics… We’re also huge dog fans, so Cerbie was a great way to convey our love for dogs!” the duo told Bored Panda.

Soares’ illustrations will catch your eye with their authentic textures, colors, and shapes, but they still managed to look cartoonish and adorable despite these qualities. Even though his art is modern and contemporary, Soares is a huge fan of the old masters, from Rafael Sanzio to Leonardo DA Vinci.

]]>Scottish Fold Sponge Cake and British shorthairs Mocha and Donut live in New York with their owners, and they’ve only started exploring the world in recent years. Dan and Olivia Nguyen felt bad about leaving them at home because they were a part of the family, so they decided to bring them along.
Most people avoid traveling with cats because it seems pretty difficult, but Dan Nguyen claims that Sponge Cake, Mocha, and Donut aren’t giving them any trouble during their travels.
“They mostly just sleep on the plane. They’re all so relaxed and quiet. Sometimes, other passengers on the plane don’t even realize we have three cats with us. We started walking them around the resort grounds on their leashes and they got used to it pretty fast,” Nguyen told The New York Post.
Even though it seems they’re on the road all the time, the three kitties spend most of their time exploring the streets of the Big Apple. Their owners usually travel abroad twice a year, and they took them everywhere from Paris to Venice over the years, taking countless photos in videos for their 500,000 followers on Instagram and 700,000 on TikTok.

“I initially discovered papercutting in 2009 and instantly fell in love with the artistic process and using paper as a medium. I draw my designs in reverse on the back of the paper before cutting it out by hand with my scalpel, this takes hours to complete,” she writes on her official website.
Low was just seven when she moved from London to the beautiful countryside in North Wales. Growing up surrounded by nature significantly impacted the way she approaches art – but this isn’t her only source of inspiration.
Low is also a huge fan of Japanese culture, and she regularly tries to include this theme in her designs. From cherry blossoms, koi fishes, beautiful temples, lotus flowers, and red-crowned cranes, her art often features motifs we associate with this country.

]]>Before finding success with her cookies, Giordano was working at a web design agency, but her life turned upside downs when baking became her after-work hobby.
“What had started as a hobby snowballed into a full-time job. At the end of 2018 I finally bit the bullet and officially traded in websites and project management for kitchen scales and cookie dough,” writes Steph on her official website.
After a while, she reached a point when baking up a storm from her tiny Camden flat and preparing 20 cookies at a time simply wasn’t enough. Her business was quickly expanding, so she decided to open up her own bakery in East London. She now works with a team of 15, and offers icing workshops, in addition to selling cookies, cakes, and macarons.

]]>Alexey Kashpersky is the creative director at Newt Studios, who specializes in medical animation, and he loved mythical creatures for as long as he can remember.
“From an early age, almost from the moment I started looking at pictures in books, still not knowing how to hold the book properly, I was hopelessly fascinated by dinosaurs and dragons… Twas something magical, enchanting, inspiring primal awe in these mythical animals,” Kashpersky explains on his official website.
Magic and fairy tales still exist in his life, largely thanks to his unique pet. Back in 2018, he adopted the albino super crimson iguana Tamerlan, who was blind due to his albinism when he hatched. They’ve been inseparable ever since and it didn’t take long for the whole world to learn their story.
Kashpersky started the Instagram page Dragon and Me, where he chronicles Tamerlan’s adventures. Their viral videos offer a unique look at Kashpersky’s life with a “dragon” and their Instagram attracted over 200,000 followers so far.

He tried to find his own style and settled on playing with colors, textures, and shapes while creating the introspective conception illustrations that he’s now known for. He focuses on vector illustration, and mostly uses Illustrator and Photoshop in his work.
Siemen’s illustrations often explore the place of small people in the big world, addressing specific issues such as the impact of technology and climate change. Even though these themes are prevalent in his work, he doesn’t see himself as an illustrator who’s solely focused on social criticism.
“Depending on which illustration you’re looking at, I’d rather call it irony or sarcasm or romanticism than social criticism. I would rather entertain than enlighten… Certainly not everyone understands my intentions and sometimes there are none or it is too obvious,” Siemen told Pop Web Designs.
