She decided to pursue her love for art by getting a degree in graphic design and explored her dream of being a film director during her master’s studies before going back to the drawing board.
Rosa always enjoyed drawing people and exploring the complex thoughts that go inside their heads through her thought-provoking illustrations.
“My drawings are kind of like a peek into my head, showing the twists and turns of my everyday life, the vibe of my thoughts, and the tricky bits of my challenges. I don’t really use art as a ‘social tool’; it’s more like my personal venting session,” she told Bored Panda.
Rosa’s illustrations often tackle many injustices we face in the modern world, exploring such topics as gender inequality, body positivity, and mental health. We’ve also seen her work on several series of illustrations over the years, including one inspired by zodiac signs and another that pays homage to Hayao Miyazaki’s films.

The duo mostly focuses on making fun of Greek mythology in their comics, but they’re no strangers to adding pop culture references to the mix, paying homage to everything from Disney movies to Harry Potter and Game of Thrones.
We’ve seen many Greek gods make their way into these comics, from Zeus to Hades, but the three-headed dog Cerberus, known as Cerbie in the comics, is their biggest star.
“At first it was mostly just 1-off jokes, but after a while, we decided to do full stories spreading over multiple comics… We’re also huge dog fans, so Cerbie was a great way to convey our love for dogs!” the duo told Bored Panda.

]]>Low is a papercut artist based in North Wales with her partner and their dogs Millie and Miso. She attracted 100,000 followers to her Instagram page with her amazing miniature papercut art, but how did her obsession with this art form start?
“I initially discovered papercutting in 2009 and instantly fell in love with the artistic process and using paper as a medium. I draw my designs in reverse on the back of the paper before cutting it out by hand with my scalpel, this takes hours to complete,” she writes on her official website.
Low was just seven when she moved from London to the beautiful countryside in North Wales. Growing up surrounded by nature significantly impacted the way she approaches art – but this isn’t her only source of inspiration.
Low is also a huge fan of Japanese culture, and she regularly tries to include this theme in her designs. From cherry blossoms, koi fishes, beautiful temples, lotus flowers, and red-crowned cranes, her art often features motifs we associate with this country.

Ke Huy Quan gave us several viral moments this award season, but nothing beats “Mom, I just won an Oscar” from his acceptance speech at the Oscars.

“From an early age, almost from the moment I started looking at pictures in books, still not knowing how to hold the book properly, I was hopelessly fascinated by dinosaurs and dragons… Twas something magical, enchanting, inspiring primal awe in these mythical animals,” Kashpersky explains on his official website.
Magic and fairy tales still exist in his life, largely thanks to his unique pet. Back in 2018, he adopted the albino super crimson iguana Tamerlan, who was blind due to his albinism when he hatched. They’ve been inseparable ever since and it didn’t take long for the whole world to learn their story.

He focuses on vector illustration, and mostly uses Illustrator and Photoshop in his work.
Siemen’s illustrations often explore the place of small people in the big world, addressing specific issues such as the impact of technology and climate change. Even though these themes are prevalent in his work, he doesn’t see himself as an illustrator who’s solely focused on social criticism.
“Depending on which illustration you’re looking at, I’d rather call it irony or sarcasm or romanticism than social criticism. I would rather entertain than enlighten… Certainly not everyone understands my intentions and sometimes there are none or it is too obvious,” Siemen told Pop Web Designs.
