]]>Using the Artificial Intelligence program Midjourney, Welsh creates illustrated baby versions of your favorite pop culture characters. This includes baby musicians like Eminem, baby superheroes like Spider-Man, and baby versions of Disney princesses.
These babies are the most adorable thing not only ever but also easily recognizable thanks to the features they share with their grown-up versions.
Welsh is one of the artists that fully embraced artificial intelligence programs as part of his creative process. He knows that some people don’t view it as art but believes the backlash against AI art is simply a product of people having “a lack of understanding of its use and how it works.”
“Every generation has a new set of tools that can replace older models. For instance, photography had backlash from landscape painters, and digital painting received backlash from photographers and traditional artists alike,” Welsh explained in a recent chat with Bored Panda.
Whether you are a fan of AI art or not, you will probably find Welsh’s baby pop culture characters irresistible. So check out more of them below.

]]>The post Ariadna Giménez Uses the Power of AI to Bring Gaudi’s Buildings Into 21st Century appeared first on 5dwallpaper.com.
]]>Giménez studied advanced architecture at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, but she later decided to mix up her love for architecture with everything from photography to social media. She also has a special place in her heart for 3D visualization and interior design, and all of her talents come together in her creative project Gaudsm.
When deciding to use the power of artificial intelligence to bring Gaudi into the 21st century, Giménez’s main goal was to explore aspects of Catalan Modernism at different scales and translate them into a contemporary minimalist expression of natural forms.
She definitely succeeded, since some of her buildings look like Gaudí himself could’ve designed them if he was still around today. They borrow elements from such iconic buildings as Park Güell, Casa Batlló, Casa Milà, and his magnum opus Sagrada Família, while still managing to remain entirely their own.

]]>Creating under the moniker Lusty Byte, Pidjass uses midjourney to create complex designs of the human heart. They are inspired by all sorts of different subjects, from steampunk to fairytales, and characterized by intricate details that include jewelry, mechanical parts, plants, and even animals, among others.
In the words of Pidjass, these intriguing artworks are based on the notion that every heart has its own personality.
“The heart speaks a powerful language that is felt, not spoken. Some hearts are wise, their atriums protected by marble leopards and ventricles of gold. Some are crowned by unicorns with hoofs encased in crimson arteries. Other hearts emit the colors of an enchanted forest from their valves,” states the Lust Byte official website.
While AI is responsible for bringing his ideas to reality, Pidjass prefers to be one that puts the final touch on each heart. Using Photoshop, he refines the AI-produced image until it appears to his liking.
Pidjass produces various art pieces using his AI hearts, including paper and canvas prints, which can be purchased from his official website. He also regularly shares the newest designs on social media.

]]>Using the AI text-to-image program Midjourney, artist and creative director Paul Parsons recently decided to start a fun project—he reimagines famous soccer players as toddlers. The outcome is a series of adorable images that will melt your heart.
So far, Parsons has presented three different batches of soccer stars as toddlers. The first one saw him take on the most famous players of the modern era, including Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi.
The second batch features a selection of high-profile players from the 2000s, including Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, and Didier Drogba.
Finally, the third batch returned to the ‘90s and saw players like Ryan Giggs, Alan Shearer, David Beckham, and Ronaldo Nazario.
If Parsons follows the same pattern, we should see players from the ‘80s and ‘70s reimagined as toddlers soon enough. And we are looking forward to it.

]]>However, as displayed in a recent series of works shared by architectural designer Kaveh Najafian, the AI works still have a long way to go before getting to a point where they can be carried over to the real world.
Using AI-powered text-to-image software Midjourney, Najafin created a series of unusual lounge chairs. The designs that AI came up with are stylish and look like they belong in mansions or high-class hotels, but they also had one big issue; they were impractical.
In some cases, the chairs looked unusable because they were designed in a way that would make sitting really challenging. In other cases, the problem was the material that was used for the chairs.
“AI-assisted art and architecture, however, has abruptly moved the concept to an uncharted space. Here there are no real or unreal, simply because the intention behind the creation is not clear, or better said, there are no intentions at all, to begin with,“ says Najafian.
While these AI-designed lounge chairs will probably never be brought to life, they are sure fascinating to look at. Check out more of them below.
