]]>Brisket walked into Powell’s life while he was scrolling through Instagram while filming his latest box office hit. It was love at first sight, and Powell decided to take the weekend off filming to fly to Los Angeles and adopt Brisket from the Labelle Foundation.
It didn’t take long for Brisket to become an important fixture on the set of Twisters, and every member of the cast and crew immediately fell in love with him. He sat in Powell’s chair, bonded with his co-stars, and brought everyone on set closer together. Once it was time to promote the film, Brisket joined Powell during red carpet events, interviews, and photoshoots, becoming somewhat of a Twisters mascot.
Despite being an integral part behind the success of Twisters, Brisket doesn’t actually appear in the movie. His absence inspired many viral tweets, including “RELEASE THE BRISKET CUT” by X user @kelsospade and Matt Bellassai’s “The way [Glen Powell] brought this dog to every press event for Twisters… Imagine my surprise when little miss Brisket was not in the film for even one second.”

The horse, named Ojo de Vidrio (Glass Eye), fascinated the artist despite the fact that he had never seen it in person, and he decided to make it a subject of one of his works.
While working on Ojo de Vidrio’s portrait, Sanchez started being more interested in equine culture. This was also a way to honor his family history considering that his great-grandfather was a horse breeder.
Since then, he made horses a big part of his artistic inspiration, striving to capture their elegance, movements, and beauty through sketches, drawings, and even life-sized paintings. His works have been displayed in galleries across the United States and abroad, while also finding place in private collections.

Bayley is a cross between a black miniature poodle (her dad) and an Old English sheepdog (her mom), while Snoopy has been described as a beagle on Peanuts’ official website.
Even though they’re completely different breeds, the two pups share many physical traits, including their black button nose, floppy ears, and sweet dark eyes. In addition to posing for photos, Bayley also enjoys eating treats and playing with toys. She’s currently getting ready to celebrate her second birthday, and funny captions on her Instagram page will give you an insight into her life.

]]>Thomas works from her home studio in London, after getting a degree in illustration from Middlesex University in 2012. Even during her time at the university, Thomas was more interested in mixed media art, and needle-felting allowed her to explore it further.
“It wasn’t until afterwards that I discovered fibre art and the wonderful ability of wool to make my illustrated characters three-dimensional… As a child, I was forever drawing animals and imagining what they would be like if they could peel themselves from the paper. Now I know!” explains Thomas on her official website.
The process of needle felting involves stabbing at wool and catching fibers with needles from industrial felt-making machines. Once that’s done, the wool is transformed into all sorts of three-dimensional figures—quirky animals, in Thomas’ case.
Thomas finds joy in transforming a pile of fluff into animals that she summons from her mind. Her creations take shape of everything from cats and dogs to birds, bears, and even dinosaurs. In addition to making greeting cards with her quirky characters, she also served as the illustrator of the children’s book Dieses Buch ist LEER.

Mulloor is a skilled graphic designer and retoucher, but his art started taking a new shape once he discovered the popular AI tool Midjourney. He started using it to take his digital art to a new level, in combination with Photoshop.
The final result is truly amazing, especially his viral Macro World series that all animal lovers out there will enjoy. These illustrations show pocket-sized versions of wild animals, from tigers and elephants to giraffes and zebras, making them look more adorable than ever.

]]>Before starting her own studio, King studied illustration at the University of Brighton and spent years working on commercial surface pattern design. Shortly after giving birth, she decided to return to her independent ceramic work and started a studio fitting named “Dóttir”, which translates to daughter in Icelandic.
Nature and storytelling became her main source of inspiration, and she started creating whimsical, quirky work that transported her back to her childhood. Her clay vases are built entirely by hand, and she uses coils and slabs to build them, before painting over them. She wants her work to capture the beauty of nature, and the feline world is the theme she most frequently explores.
“I would say it’s illustrated, reminiscent of a children’s book or childhood memory. My pieces have a lot of personality too, even if I make five black cats, they’ll all be slightly different – just like real cats. Everything I make is hand-built, so it has a slightly wonky handmade feel to it,” King told 91 Magazine.
