Visual Artist Creates Awkward Flyers and Hangs Them in His Neighborhood

Bert Musketon is a visual artist from Belgium who recently decided to make things a bit awkward in his neighborhood. He started a cool project called Awkward Flyers, which sees him creating outrageous and funny flyers that he hangs on various spots in his street.

The flyers are usually advertising some kind of workshop. They might be for “putting pineapple on a pizza with confidence,” or offer you a chance to learn how to “perfectly time coughing to cover up the sounds of your farts.”

Also, each flyer comes with a tear-off that will take the interested party to the Awkward Flyers Instagram page. While the interested won’t be getting the workshop they are looking for that way, they will have a chance to see more funny works from Musketon.

Musketon has been involved in art in one way or another for the past 12 years. He started Awkward Flyers during the first COVID lockdown and has been making them since.

“I love awkward stuff or situations, so I came up with the concept of Awkward Flyers,“ Musketon explained in a recent blog post. ”I try to communicate a random joke in one image.”
