Cats can sense human emotions such as sadness or fatigue. They also mirror some of these emotions and can show it when they feel the same way. How do you think they know how to make you do their bidding with their fluttering eyes and cute noses?
Felines can sense childrens’ emotions even more so since they are more vocal. With adults, it may be a bit difficult.
In the video below, you can see that it takes a while for the cat to understand the situation. He looks at his owner from afar and wonders what is going on. When he gets a clearer view of the situation, however, he steps in to offer some comfort. It is so amazing to see how smart these creatures are.
