Rommy De Bommy’s Food-Inspired Bags Look So Good That You’ll Want to Take a Bite

If you love food and fashion in equal measure, Rommy De Bommy is about to become your next obsession. This fashion brand based in the Netherlands focuses on crafting bags and purses inspired by food, that looks just as good and tasty as the real thing.

Founded by Rommy Kuprus, this brand became a true sensation thanks to its deliciously realistic designs, but how did she come up with them? She initially started creating non-food-related fashion piccies, but everything changed once she tried crafting bags inspired by pancakes and sprinkle cakes.

“Food has been always my biggest interest. I’m absolutely overwhelmed every time I visit the supermarket. All those different shapes and colors, it is all art in itself. At a young age, I knew I was going to show people my style, which has been always ‘different’ than others,” Kuprus told Diva Catwalk.

Her bags are basically wearable art, and we’ve seen her draw inspiration from pretty much every dish you can think of, ranging from waffles and pies to donuts and toast.

Kuprus’ creativity knows no bounds, but you’ll have to be patient if you want to get your hands on one of her bags. Rommy De Bommy is a one-woman business, and it can take her anywhere between two to three weeks to finish a bag, but there are some bags already available on her official website.
