We often disregard the power of words. Sometimes all you need is to hear or read something positive, cheerful, or motivational to bring you up when you’re feeling down or to inspire you to do the things you thought couldn’t be done.
With this in mind, Orlando-based lettering artist Danison Fronda has been dressing motivational phrases in beautiful calligraphy and sharing them with his followers on social media.
Fronda discovered his love for lettering back in 2018 when he decided to make custom invitations and props for his wedding. He realized that despite the complexity of the task, he enjoyed the project and continued to hone his skills.
Pursuing his passion for lettering, Fronda entered the world of wedding calligraphy professionally while also starting a personal project that saw him creating colorful calligraphy of various upbeat phrases.
Along the way, Fronda realized that he has a knack for teaching as well, which resulted in organizing online lessons and art classes. He teaches his students that the lettering isn’t as “intimidating” as it seems and can help them express themselves creatively while finding their own personal style.
“You can see people’s personalities in lettering, and lettering is such a powerful thing,” he explains. “Words are very powerful, and that’s why I think I love lettering so much.”
