Social media can be filled with negativity, but you can make your feed a little bit better by following hilarious illustrators whose main goal is to make people smile. Guy Kopsombut is one of them, and the animal comics on his page 4 am Shower radiate with positivity and good vibes.
Kopsombut is based in Nashville, TN and he fell in love with drawing comics while in high school. Life took him in a different direction during his college years, but he later decided to revisit his creative side and started drawing again as a way to cope with the bleakness and hopelessness of the modern world.
“I wanted to do something to remind people that there was still good in the world and to help them smile. I asked myself what I could do on a daily basis to bring joy to the world and I remember drawing comics in school and how it helped them smile,” he told Bored Panda.
His comics ooze positive energy, mostly because animals take center stage in most of them and make them extra adorable. In addition to becoming a huge hit on Instagram, with almost 200,000 followers, Kopsombutfoud found success with his book Everyday Smiles: Finding Joy in Every Moment.
