Mo Mountain Mutts Goes Viral After Taking Dogs on Bus Rides in Alaska

If you’ve never seen a bunch of dogs on a bus before, buckle up because it’s going to be one wild ride! Mo Mountain Mutts, a dog walking company from Alaska, found viral fame thanks to their doggy daycare bus, which sees a bunch of dogs riding on a bus in perfect harmony.

Mo Mountain Mutts was founded by Mo and Lee Thompson in Skagway, Alaska, and they mostly specialize in trail dog pack walks. Mo initially started walking other people’s dogs when her friend asked her for help, but her hobby quickly turned into a legitimate business.

Teachers at a local school quickly learned that Mo is very skilled with dogs, and the word spread like wildfire. After a while, she was taking care of two packs of dogs and had to ask her husband Lee to jump in and help her out.

Walking dogs in the cold Alaskan winter isn’t an easy task, so the couple decided to buy a bus from a local business, and the dogs they care for are so well-trained that they act like humans during their rides.

“We usually have everything to ourselves. Nobody’s usually outside. And we can play the in and the out game. I usually leave my vehicle running and the dogs can kind of come and go and warm their little toes up in their seat and come back out,” she told KTOO.
