Julien Tabet has almost 188 thousand followers for a reason. The 22-year-old artist has been passionate about photo manipulation for about two years now. He is best known for his remarkable work, where he “imagines how animals behave when you aren’t looking”. Tabet says that he likes relooking animals, mixing poetry and fantasy.
“I question the laws of nature and physics every day, to leave my imagination free to create a world different from the one we know,” the artist wrote on Bored Panda. “The animals are all incredibly beautiful, and all have very distinct physical characteristics which are a source of inspiration for me.”
Each of his works takes hours to finish, so it could be as realistic and detailed as possible. If you scroll down through his Instagram feed, you will notice a color scheme.
“People ask me a lot why I chose to keep the same color shade all the time. For me, these colors represent the fantastic and the unconscious. For me, all these animals are kinda part of a universe parallel to ours,” he added.
