Dachshund Helped His Big Brother Recover From Anxiety

Everybody can suffer from anxiety, both humans and animals. Unfortunately, the same happened to a now two-year-old Weimar birder named Arnold. He was only a puppy when he had a terrifying encounter with a large German Shepherd.

However, when a Dachshund named Frank entered Arnold’s life, it all changed. Little Frank became Arnold’s therapist. He showed him how to regain his self-confidence and to play without any fear.

“The bond these two dogs have is just insanely beautiful. They are so connected and loving and supportive of one another,” Manalis explained to Carter News. “If one ever cries, the other one is there in half a second to check they are okay.”

Walks, hugs, naps, treats, and kisses are all that Arnold now knows, and there is no place for scare anymore. Although the Dachshund unconsciously played an important role in Arnold’s life, Frank thinks that the Weimar birder is this father.
