Electronics company Bang & Olufsen recently presented an intriguing new line of audio products inspired by the New Lunar Year and Silk Road in China.
This limited series features Beoplay A9 minimalistic home speaker, Beolit 20 powerful portable speaker, Beosound A1 waterproof portable speaker, Beoplay H95 over-ear headphones, and Beoplay EX wireless earbuds. The design of the product incorporates the themes of the New Lunar Year and Silk Road through the use of a traditional color palette of Lunar Red, Jade Green, and Gold Tone. It also includes various elements that fit the concept.
Beoplay A9 comes with wooden legs and is styled as a standing mirror with wavy thread pattern at the bottom. Beolit 20 and Beosound A1 are adorned with decorative Chinese knots, which are believed to serve as good-luck charms, while Beoplay H95 and Beoplay EX come in cleanly-designed aluminum cases.
Bang & Olufsen’s Lunar New Year products are already available for purchase on the audio maker’s official webshop. However, they come with a hefty price tag. The Beosound A1 waterproof speaker is the cheapest find at a price of $279, while Beoplay A9 minimalistic home speaker comes with a price tag of $3,799.
