Artist Draws Portraits Using Rulers And Geometric Shapes

Ronald Restituyo, born and raised in Jarabacoa in the Dominican Republic, is an engineer and a self-taught artist who creates remarkable portraits. He is also the CEO and the founder of an Instagram profile called DailyArt where he shares works of artists from all around the world.

“I love being able to use the account to help other artists grow,” Restituyo shared on PRWEB. “I know what it’s like to want to paint – to want to share your creations with the world. And with DailyArt, I can help them because I’m an artist too.”

According to the artist, he has been doing art since he was a little boy. He was seeking his inspiration from nature and the world around him.

“I grew up in a mountainous area of the Dominican Republic that is very connected to nature,” the artist added. “Everywhere we went there were trees. It was quiet, calm, and peaceful – a perfect place to receive inspiration for my work.”

Nowadays, in his illustrations, Restituyo uses a combination of colored pencils, watercolor paints, graphite pencils, and ballpoint pens on paper. He also shows how you can draw a face using mathematics.
