Tijana Medic has many descriptions to her name: she is a drawing and painting enthusiast, translator, interpreter, with a mathematics and computer science background. On her Instagram account she shares remarkable portraits of animals and people that surround her.
“I am inspired by my pets, my family members, and my birthplace, Banja Luka, in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the artist shared on her personal website.
According to the artist, for her, Instagram is full of beauty and surprises that make her want to create art. She usually uses a pen to draw her portraits.
“Inspiration for making art comes from surprising places, and Instagram is a rich well – of beauty, style, sass, but also courage, grit, tenacity and, when it comes to animal celebrities and their owners/butlers who show them off on social media with deserved pride – pure, real love,” she told Bored Panda.
