]]>“Climate change is arguably the largest crisis we face as a global society,” she remarked in an interview with Visual Atelier 8. “I feel a responsibility as an artist to address this in my work, especially since I’ve had the rare opportunity to travel to remote places at the forefront of the crisis.”
Indeed, her work often requires travel. In order to collect her source material, Forman has flown with NASA on several Operation IceBridge missions over Antarctica, Greenland, and Arctic Canada.
According to Forman, though many of us are intellectually aware that climate change is our greatest global challenge, the problem often feels abstract, and the imperiled landscapes remote. Through her drawings, she hopes places like Antarctica become more present to the viewer while emulating the overpowering experience of being beside a glacier.
“I hope viewers feel as if they’ve been transported to the landscape they’re looking at,” says Forman. “If they can experience the landscape in the way I did, it is my hope they’ll fall in love with it the way I have. And when you love something, you want to protect it.”
Hopefully, her drawings can indeed, facilitate a deeper understanding of the climate crisis. Scroll down to see some highlights from her feed.

]]>The post Jamie Song Created the Most Impressive Indoor Garden in London appeared first on 5dwallpaper.com.
]]>Song spent his childhood on the urban streets of Taipei and fell in love with plants during a visit to Bali. He decided to explore his passion further after moving into an apartment in London, which turned out to be the perfect place for his indoor garden to thrive.
The open-plan living space provided enough skylight for his growing collection of houseplants. It now looks like an indoor jungle — plants can be found hanging from the ceiling, covering the walls and shelves, and clustering the floors, and they turned Song’s home into a true oasis.
Jamie’s Jungle is a sight for sore eyes, but it takes a lot of time and energy to maintain it. Song was gardening amateur at first and learned how to take care of his plants through trial and error, and his journey is a great source of inspiration for everyone thinking of starting their own indoor garden.

]]>Zooming in on his neighborhood located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Leshko studies its building facades from observations and photographs. Anything from dumpsters to shabby storefronts is painstakingly recreated, adding up to a three-dimensional archive of the buildings surrounding him. “My project with the buildings in my neighborhood is just that, a documentary project or archiving project,” he remarked in an interview with The Daily Mini.
Highlighting the typically overlooked details that make up a neighborhood, as well as the overall sense of decay and neglect, his work might also be understood as a social critique about the ways in which society is constantly disposing of its past. “There is something inside of me that pushes me to take on these works,” says Leshko, “but I can’t identify what that is.”
Exhibited internationally and included in the permanent collection of the Urban Nation Museum (Berlin) and the Dean Collection (NYC), you can also view his miniature models online, via Instagram:

The idea behind his art is beautiful and truly makes us think about how each person has a passion that brings joy and color to their life. Without that passion, we’re mostly just shadows of what we can be if we follow our true desires.

]]>But whether it’s a large-scale public mural on the streets of NYC, a marker scrawling on a Uniqlo t-shirt, or a post on Instagram, Goodman wants his words to pack a punch – hoping to spark dialogues surrounding difficult subjects such as heartbreak, politics, and mental health.
“I just want to create art that people can connect to,” he admitted in a candid interview with Eye on Design. “With so many of the stories I’m trying to tell, I’m trying to make things for actual people. I think sharing your personal stories is sort of activism; when you connect to other lonely people in the world, I think there’s a service involved that is really powerful. I want to continue to use my work as a vehicle for that.”
According to Godman, the greatest joy in being an artist is the ability to connect to other humans emotionally through his work and words. “If I can’t connect to someone seeing my work on an emotional level, then I don’t know why I’m doing it,” he says. “How do you interact with a great film or a great book or a great album? You’re connecting with it emotionally.”
With almost 170k followers on Instagram, people seem to be connecting. And it’s not only people who hear him out. His clients also include giants like Google, Samsung, Uniqlo, Target, Airbnb, Netflix, and The New Yorker. Take a look for yourself:

]]>The former means having to give up a couple of things that you’ve grown accustomed to, such as, you know, more space in your house. The latter, meanwhile, is quite obvious given how expensive houses and lots are today. However, did you know that there is a compromise?
While not necessarily cheap, the mobile tiny homes by Olive Nest Tiny Homes aren’t cramped for space either.
With roughly 323 square feet of space, this tiny mobile home makes use of every nook and cranny to give every couple everything they need, whether it’s to start a new family or to start a new life once the kids have gone on to live theirs.
Mind you, these tiny mobile homes don’t just have living spaces — they even come with their own porches and greenhouse!
These two additional structures are what makes the tiny homes stand out because it helps make the structure more sustainable, allowing you to grow your own vegetables and fruits and enjoy relaxing on your own porch swing when you’re not too busy.
If you want to have your very own bright, airy, and green structure, then scroll down below to see more photos of this tiny mobile home.

]]>Most choose the comfort of having a beautiful home, because, why not?
For one couple, they decided to do both at the same time.
Robbie and Priscilla bought a 1998 Thomas School Bus, spent nearly two years remodeling it and the result is many times better than the typical camper van that you see so often in many travel pages these days.
Featuring an open floor plan with enough space for a full bed for two and a full-sized kitchen that’s larger than in some apartments in metro cities, the mobile home is every bit as beautiful as any typical suburban home.
The only difference is that this home is literally on wheels.
The couple finished working on their bus in March of this year and they haven’t looked back.
The two document their travels on their Instagram, Going Boundless, and you can see exactly just how much fun they’re having traveling all over the place.
