Illustrator Rosanna Tasker has the talent to turn ordinary and mundane moments into magical scenes. Her illustrations show people doing common tasks like fruit picking, walking in the rain, and grocery shopping but her style makes them look like they’re on a mission to do something special and meaningful. There are a lot of layers to her art if you think about it.

In an interview with Irina & Silviu, the artist revealed that she needed to “unlearn everything she was told at school and college about how she should draw.” She doesn’t dismiss the importance of things she learned there, “but to find your own unique style you definitely have to return to your uninhibited childhood roots and rediscover what comes naturally to you,” she said.
