Chinese traditional painting has a rich history and has endured for several centuries. This unique art form has since spread all over the globe, and contemporary artists still use it.
It is done on thin silk or rice paper. Chinese ink, dye and different kinds of brushes are used. It illustrates flowers, landscapes, insect and animals among others.
In the video, two women can be seen creating a circle on canvas. It seems vague at first, but it starts to take shape after the background for the landscape is created.
They create the trees with black strokes and then sprinkle yellow paint across it, creating fruits on the tree. The final piece is absolutely amazing. Both artists worked in tandem to create a perfect Chinese traditional landscape painting.
