Mayuki Notebooks is the creation of a Polish graphic designer called Marta. According to the artist, these handmade eco-friendly notebooks were created from a combination of love for paper and the need for personal creation.
“When I made my first notebook I didn’t know that it’s a start of something bigger,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “At the beginning, I created notebooks only for my friends and I just enjoyed the process of making them. But with more and more encouragement I decided to start my own business and sell notebooks to people who care about our planet – all of my notebooks are made from recycled paper.
To make her notebooks even more fun, she decorates them with colorful woven or embroidered covers. From leaves and animals to hearts, bugs, and letters, the Warsaw-based Marta’s work is everything.
