]]>The set consists of the brick tree that has 16 hanging holders on which you can hang miniature family photos. The tree is resting on a base that can be covered with flower or grass elements. The base has a hidden compartment with various figurines, ranging from binoculars and a kite to food elements, which can be used to give the tree a personal touch.
Family Tree set was conceived by LEGO Ideas user Bulldoozer, who took inspiration from a tree-like mural their family built.
“Our tree started out as a fun, little project that got everyone in our clan to contribute pictures,” said Bulldoozer. “Over time, it has grown and sprouted new branches with each new member. It has become a ‘living’ map of our ancestry and the stories we share with our kids and grandkids … ‘Your Family Tree’ will give you and your loved ones the perfect canvas to build, map, and grow your own tree.”
Family Tree set is already available for pre-order on LEGO’s official website. It comes with a price tag of $79.99.

]]>The set consists of 2,651 pieces and comes with all sorts of exciting features. For starters, you will be able to mechanically simulate the chase between PAC-MAN and Ghost Gang once the arcade is fully assembled. It also features a light brick that illuminates the coin slot. Unfortunately, the game won’t be functional, but that doesn’t make it any less fun.
Also included are pieces for a scene that shows a minifigure playing PAC-MAN in an arcade parlor. On top of that, you will get to build a display showing PAC-MAN, Blinky, and Clyde that can be mounted on the arcade.
The PAC-MAN Arcade set is set to be released on June 4, 2023, and will go for $269.99 on LEGO’s official website.
“Our team of talented designers worked tirelessly to capture the essence of the beloved PAC-MAN arcade machine in brick form, from PAC-MAN himself to the colorful, maze-like environment he inhabits,” said Sven Franic, designer of the new Icons set.
“Every detail was carefully considered and crafted, resulting in a one-of-a-kind LEGO creation that captures the magic of the original game while adding a playful new twist and a couple of Easter eggs – in true video game style.”

]]>On his Instagram page, Lotia claims he makes music with LEGO, but this is only partially true. After realizing he doesn’t have enough pieces in his collection to accomplish what he wanted, he started using the digital building software BrickLink Studio to render LEGO elements in any color.
“I picked up digital construction using BrickLink Studio along the way, and absolutely love how much freedom, flexibility, and speed it provides to LEGO artists. I hope that designers continue to explore the capabilities of this fantastic (and free!) resource in the future,” Lotia told Loudwire.
He initially made LEGO models based on movies and TV shows before deciding to explore his love for music this way. He used to play grunge in a high school band during his teenage years, but his taste significantly changed over time and he’s a fan of many different genres.
His LEGO music covers reflect that, and we’ve seen him pay homage to everyone from iconic rock bands such as Pink Floyd and Radiohead to modern artists including Beyonce and The Weeknd.

]]>Schaik found inspiration for these unique constructions, part of the Lost Tablets series, while observing the remains of the Parthenon. He found that the iterations of this Ancient Greek temple can be tracked in its base despite its decaying condition. His works are crafted in the same vision, bearing the scars of time on them.
Each of Schaik’s pieces is made using secondhand Legos. The plastic bricks, with its discoloration, scratches, and other marks, tell the story of their past owners while being a part of a new object. The structures themselves are often in deteriorating condition, being built with holes, gaps, and crumbling parts.
Lost Tablets is an ongoing series, although Schaik intends to wrap it up after completing 100 unique structures. The finished pieces, each named after a ship found crew-less and adrift at sea, can be browsed on the project’s official website and social media. They will also be on display at several art galleries in Australia in early 2023, including Melbourne’s Crystal Palace & Courtyard.
