]]>Mr. Doodle’s Disney pieces recreate scenes from Disney’s classic animated movies and feature the likes of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. They are easily recognizable for all Disney fans while being given a new form thanks to Mr. Doodle’s unique style.
The artworks will be on display in the art space Artelli at City of Dreams, Macau, from August 1 to October 15. They will be accompanied by several large-scale doodle pieces that Mr. Doodle has become famous for. The visitors will also be able to acquire one of five limited edition prints done in editions of 100.
As part of the exhibition, Mr. Doodle will also host a live doodling performance, his first, on September 12.
“The Disney collaboration feels very natural due to the similarities between our two worlds, DoodleLand and DisneyLand,” said Mr. Doodle of the project.
“Both our immersive worlds are full of wonder and fantasy and aim to spread joy and happiness to everyone. The creative process was fascinating. I feel privileged to have been invited to contribute to Disney’s centenary celebrations and hope that the paintings capture a sense of the fun and enjoyment I experienced whilst creating them.”

]]>Gromo enjoyed drawing from a young age and making art made him feel more comfortable and confident in his everyday life. Studying fine arts was the easiest decision he’s ever made, but he also has a background as a graphic designer—both of which came in handy once he started crafting his Disney illustrations.
When he first embarked on this journey, his main objective was to put less-known works of art on the map. As a student of the history of art, he wanted to shine a light on some paintings that are truly amazing but most people don’t know about because they’re not studied in schools.
“I think the most complicated thing about creating these illustrations is to be able to keep surprising every day. When you have already made so many illustrations, thinking about the next one always becomes a challenge, you always have to try to improve,” Gromo told Bored Panda.
One of the best things about his paintings is the incredible attention to detail, and it sometimes takes several months to finish them. In addition to sharing Disney illustrations based on classical paintings, he’s often inspired by celebrities and pop culture.

“This dress definitely isn’t perfect (yes, I know you can see the wheels) but, it is done, and I am really, really proud of it,” the artist shared on her Instagram and added that she will be posting a video to show how the dress was created.
Another project that caught our attention is the DIY Disney Shoes, which took her over three weeks to make. Her main inspiration was The Beauty and the Beast Disney movie.

]]>Her project Pet Disneyfication turns people’s pet photos into Disney-style illustrations and they’re exactly how we’d expect them to look in the animated universe. The colors, facial features, and expressions are spot on and they look like they came straight from a Disney film.
The 22-year-old artist has been drawing since she was young, but didn’t consider it a career until the end of high school. She studied illustration and animation before quitting her program during her third year to give pet portrait work a try.
“Pet Disneyfication is something I did very sporadically in my free time for about 5 years,” Bredt told Bored Panda. “I started because I was and still am a big fan of both drawing animals and the old Disney style.”
She told Bored Panda that she’s not a Disney employee, just a huge fan with her favorite movies being The Lion King, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations, and The Artistocats.
Her project began when she was 16 on Reddit where she offered free art to people who sent pictures of their pets so she could practice her Disney style. It wasn’t until last summer that she started doing commission work and created an Instagram account. After her following grew, she started drawing shelter pets in the hopes of their portraits helping animals find their forever homes.

]]>Let’s see. There’s Maleficent, Ursula, Cruella, and the Queen of Hearts. There’s a bunch of others because, well, in Disney movies, as much as they are for children, the villains actually look quite scary, even for adults.
One artist, however, found a way to make them even more diabolic and dastardly.
Meet Shawn Coss, an artist who works for Cyanide and Happiness and, on the side, has a couple of other side projects of his own. This includes creating illustrations of classic Disney villains and making them look even scarier, like as if that was even possible.
While these illustrations are still in black-and-white, there’s no denying that no kid would have ever watched a Disney movie without having a nightmare after, if these were the original designs.
If you want to give yourself quite the scare, then go ahead and scroll down below.
