While soap is primarily used for washing hands or even clothes, it turns out that it can be also used for other purposes. Here, it serves as a material for making fake food as the works of Russian artist Julia Popova demonstrate.

Popova is known for making astonishingly realistic fake food and drinks using just soap. She started this project nine years ago and quickly began making impressive pieces that she gave away to her friends and relatives. Soon enough, they encouraged her to showcase her crafts on social media, and it turned out that the internet loved them as well.
Popova’s soap art can be a great decoration piece (just make sure no one eats them), while it can also be used for its primary purpose; washing. Wouldn’t it be cool to wash your hands with soap in the shape of a martini bottle?
Check out more of these awesome pieces below.
