Jewelry Maker Recreates Famous Paintings With Beaded Earrings

Famous paintings like the Mona Lisa, Girl with the Pearl Earring, or Starry Night are appreciated and considered valuable for a number of reasons. The most important is their historical significance, but high on the list is also their impact on art in general and the inspiration they provide to artists all over the world.

One of such artists is Hanna Hupalo. This Ukrainian jewelry maker is not only inspired by the famous paintings of classical artists, but she also recreates them in the form of beautiful beaded earrings.

Despite the unusual material she uses and the small “canvas”, Hupalo is still able to capture the essence of the artwork. The famous paintings are instantly recognizable on her earrings, with shapes and colors being faithful to the original pieces.

Some of the iconic artworks Hupalo recreated include Van Gogh’s Starry Night and Sunflowers, Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, Gustav Klimt’s Kiss, and Mondrian’s Compositions. She also creates original pieces inspired by nature and geometrical shapes.

In a recent interview, Hupalo revealed that she started making jewelry after receiving her art degree eight years ago. After doing it as a hobby for a while, she realized that the demand for her pieces is much bigger than she anticipated. This was when she decided to focus on jewelry almost exclusively and turn it into a business.
