Fiber Artist Uses Tufting to Create Unique Pieces

Georgian artist, Trish Andersen, uses a process known as tufting to make beautiful textile artworks. Tufting is an ancient technique that is used to produce warm garments. The same technique is used in producing artworks today, as shown in the videos below.

The textile artist uses a variety of colored yarns to sculpt different shapes and forms. Each piece takes quite a while to complete but the result is worth it. The different colors of yarns make her pieces really stand out. Andersen doesn’t only craft abstract art but has some lifelike artworks such.
