Pittsburgh-based artist, Diana D’Agostino, describes herself as a mixed-media artist with a love of good food, vibrant photography, and telling stories. She creates mosaics from different types of food.
“As a passionate advocate of positive representation and acceptance for diverse groups of individuals, my style of transforming edible materials into bright, colorful portraits of the LGBTQ+ and global communities is inspired by a desire to celebrate and give a voice to these identities, using a medium which uniquely reflects the community highlighted in each piece,”
D’Agostino explained on her website.
She shares her colorful mosaics on her Instagram account called Patria Mosaic Designs.
