“I collect vintage watch parts that have been discarded and on their way to the garbage heap,” the artist shared with Bored Panda. “In turn, I breathe new life into them by encrusting iconic objects with them.”

With almost 25 thousand followers, the Toronto-based Tanenbaum has built himself an Instagram community.

Dan has always had a passion for collecting antiques – anything from Darth Vader and Nike sneakers to teddy bears and miniature motorcycles. His creations have been featured in publications such as Plaza Watch Magazine, Ultimate Motorcycle Magazine, Motorcycle Mojo Magazine, Bike Magazine, and blogs all around the world.
