After he broke up with his girlfriend of 15 years, Sam Eelcoo started publishing cynical comics that helped him release some of the pain he felt. He didn’t actually expect people would be interested, but he was in for a surprise! Right now he’s a rising Instagram star, with around 1,800 people following his work.
Eelcoo created a character named John; a guy who according to him was “someone who everybody should hate (and was portrayed as the person responsible for the split), but – as time passed and life got better – gradually turned into a normal character with everyday issues.”
