This Artist Makes Unbelievable Sculptures Using Her Hair

We’ve heard of sculptures made from marble, stone, metal, ceramics, wood, what have you. But this one Ivorian artist decided to use her own hair as raw material.

Laetitia Ky is an art addict and fashion designer who can shape her hair in mind-boggling ways. From palm trees, and animals to everyday objects, the 22-year-old self-proclaimed polyvalent artist and activist is conquering social media.

Ky’s creations are brought to life by using hair extensions, needles, fabric, wire, wool, and more. Each sculpture takes between 20 minutes to 2 hours to complete.

By using her hair, this artist hopes to spread inspiring messages of self-love, tolerance, and equality.
