These Hyperreal Pictures Are Truly Captivating

Arkansas based artist, David Kassan, paints pictures that are so real you’ll think they are digital photos. Kassan was born in 1977 and entered the scene in 2010 after his hyperreal iPad paintings went viral.

This talented artist is currently stirring up the art world. He seeks to change the way art portraits are created. His approach to art also differs from a lot of his contemporaries.

Despite being classically trained, Kassan isn’t scared to shy away from his set path. Asides from painting realistic portraits of Holocaust survivors, he also does iPad and iPhone paintings. The artist combines urban graffiti backgrounds and classical portraiture to bridge the gap between art forms.
