A sua construção começou em 1147 e terminou nas primeiras décadas do século XIII, mas foi modificada várias vezes após desastres naturais pelo que hoje em dia é uma mistura de diferentes estilos arquitectónicos, nomeadamente românico, gótico e barroco. Foi classificada como Monumento Nacional em 1910 e é um ex-libris de Lisboa. Tive tanta sorte que ainda fui brindado pela passagem do eléctrico, outro clássico! Its construction began in 1147 and finished in the first decades of the XIII century, but was modified several times after natural disasters so nowadays it is a mix of different architectural styles, namely Romanesque, gothic and baroque. Erguida na margem norte do rio Tejo entre 1514 e 1520, estava nessa altura completamente cercada pelas águas que ao longo dos séculos recuaram, deixando-na envolvida pela praia, até encontrar terra firme. Esta jóia arquitectónica do reinado de D. Manuel I é composta pela torre medieval e pelo baluarte com dois níveis de disparo de artilharia, traduzindo a sua missão de defesa do estuário do Tejo. Está classificada pela UNESCO em 1983 como “Património Cultural da Humanidade" e é possivelmente o monumento português mais fotografado! Este é o Miradouro de Santa Luzia, o meu favorito dos 19 miradouros oficiais de Lisboa e também o mais romântico! Daqui avista-se Alfama e o rio Tejo assim como a cúpula da Igreja de Santa Engrácia, a Igreja de Santo Estêvão e as duas torres brancas da Igreja de São Miguel. Além da vista soberba podemos também admirar os fantásticos azulejos, o jardim e na muralha sul de Santa Luzia lindos painéis de azulejos da Fábrica da Viúva Lamego! . . 🇬🇧 Lisbon is rich in slopes and hills, which translates into numerous belvederes with fantastic views of the city! This is the Miradouro de Santa Luzia, my favorite of the 19 official viewpoints of Lisbon and also the most romantic! From here you can see Alfama and the Tagus River as well as the dome of the Church of Santa Engrácia, the Church of Santo Estevao and the two white towers of the Church of São Miguel. O seu autor é Misterpiro, nascido Andrés Sánchez-Ocaña Núñez (Madri, outubro de 1994), um pintor e designer espanhol, que se dedica a arte urbana. A sua técnica baseia-se no improviso, misturando a agressividade do spray à delicadeza da aquarela e criando obras da abstração completa à figurativa. De Misterpiro foi dito que ele converte a pintura em poesia, no reverso do poeta romano Horácio "ut pictura poesis", "como pintura, que é poesia" , transformando-a em "como poesia, esta é a pintura de Misterpiro " . . 🇬🇧 Anyone who has been to LxFactory probably came across this fantastic mural of vibrant colors! It’s author is Misterpiro, born Andrés Sánchez-Ocaña Núñez (Madrid, October 1994) is a Spanish painter and designer, dedicated to urban art. His technique is based on improvisation, where the aggressiveness of the spray and the delicacy of the watercolor blend, taking us from complete abstraction to figurative.
