]]>The artist behind KatalystComics, who goes by the name Blue Boi, creates silly and hilarious comics that regularly feature surprising twists and unexpected endings. They cover a wide range of topics but are always easily understandable and can make you chuckle even if you are not in the best of moods.
While KatalystComics feature various characters, the most popular ones are the ones that revolve around Pokemon monsters. The characters of the popular anime show are presented in absurd situations and awkward convos, often getting the shorter end of the stick for your entertainment.
In a recent chat with Bored Panda, Blue Boi revealed that they only started drawing comics a few years ago. It was a way for them to deal with a challenging period in life at the time, but it quickly became much more than that.
“Making other people laugh is like my life’s purpose, and I want to keep it that way,” Blue Boi told Bored Panda. “Drawing comics is like spreading joy with funny illustrations! (If that makes sense?).”

]]>A decade ago, she bumped into an artist who was drawing Pokémon ‘gijinkas’, and inspired by her work, she decided she would start her project. Gijinka is a process of giving humanizing traits to animals, plants, and other things.
“Most of my gijinkas tend to be different people because I want to build and manufacture a creative world for them even if I’m just drawing a character,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “I even give them personal names just to humanize them more because when I was a kid, I always nicknamed my Pokémon.”
In 2013 she even received a special reward on Deviantart for a Pokémon gijinka she drew.

]]>Yes, you read that right. A creative artist, known online only by his handle Tamtamdi, has created anthropomorphized versions of various Pokemon and it’s definitely amazing how he’s managed to capture the uniqueness of each creature while also making them look human.

]]>Combining the massive creatures that clumsily destroy everything in their path with the natural cuteness of most Pokemon characters seems to show just how scary these creatures couldbe if they were only a few meters (more like a couple of dozen or so) taller and could demolish buildings as if they were nothing.
Zsparky definitely deserves some kudos for having the artistic ability (and stomach!) to turn these adorable pocket monsters into certified monstrosities.
