The thing is, when it comes to considering things as scary and not, it’s all a matter of perspective.
Things that are often described are monstrous or scary by people are often things in nature that people just don’t know much about because they’re not exposed to them. But, what happens if these creatures were presented in a way that made them look innocent, and even cute?
Artist Michelle Elaine Petersen uses a combination of polymer clay, acrylic paint, and other natural materials to create miniature fantasy monsters inspired by things in nature.
The result? Things that are supposed to be monstrous, but look cute and adorable at the same time.

]]>From that moment on, it became his habit to spill more coffee in order to show off his creative side. We have to admit that it’s a unique and creative idea that really proves itself.
“My favorite moment up until now was when someone wrote me, that the monsters make her happy everyday,” he shared. “This is so cheerful and because of messages like that, I do it again and again. It never gets old for me, because a spill is never the same. The coffeemonsters are my way of expressing my love for comics, coffee, and randomness.”
