]]> Russian artist Alexey Vikulov creates highly detailed sculptures which he then shares on his Instagram account. Amongst his works are recreations of Peter Dinklage, Kristofer Hivju, and Liam Cunningham from Game of Thrones. There is also a sculpture of Jesus Christ.

His sculpture of Tyrion Lannister went viral and has drawn attention to his amazing work. Many Instagram users were awed by his raw talent and this has caused a surge in his popularity.

]]> We’re always amazed when we stumble upon a talented hyperrealism artist, so we’re excited to introduce you to Kevin Okafor and his work. He is a British artist from Nigeria and his paintings honestly look like they could easily be photographs.

His work is best understood next to a reference photo. Okafor’s attention to detail is amazing and the precision in his work is what draws followers to his Instagram page. His work is currently followed by over 220,000 people and we can only expect that number will grow in the near future.

A drawing which pretty much changed the course of my journey through life. Back in 2015 before I put pencil to paper to create this drawing, I reached a point in life where I began to live more inwardly. My primary goal was to align internally with the present moment so that nothing I did moving forward was ever a means to an end. Although sensitivity has always been second nature for me, I had always lived waiting for the next moment (as if there was such a thing) and nostalgically wallowing in the past. Becoming more consciously aware of life’s happenings, an opening was formed where I could appreciate the rhythm of the moment. I began to notice that everything was in sync and flows majestically with each breath I took. This drawing is titled Maya’s Interlude and was what subsequently led to building my series “Interludes”. #Maya #Interludes #Solitude #Reflection #Stillness #PencilDrawing #KelvinOkafor

]]> Arkansas based artist, David Kassan, paints pictures that are so real you’ll think they are digital photos. Kassan was born in 1977 and entered the scene in 2010 after his hyperreal iPad paintings went viral.

This talented artist is currently stirring up the art world. He seeks to change the way art portraits are created. His approach to art also differs from a lot of his contemporaries.

Despite being classically trained, Kassan isn’t scared to shy away from his set path. Asides from painting realistic portraits of Holocaust survivors, he also does iPad and iPhone paintings. The artist combines urban graffiti backgrounds and classical portraiture to bridge the gap between art forms.

He posts all his work on his Instagram page, and some are being exhibited in museums. See some of his wonderful art in the gallery below.
