]]> Digital art may be new on the scene, but it’s the gift that keeps on giving. With more digital creation apps, artists can reach heights they never expected. Take this digital artist, for example, which makes awesome 3D images using only his iPad.

The videos and pictures below were created by digital artist, Gal Shir. The Israeli artist started designing since he was a teen, and has amassed about 429k followers on his Instagram account.

In the videos, you can see how conveniently he draws and colors his creations that turn out beautiful. The design app he uses is called Procreate.

Shir shares most of his drawings as well as some tutorials on his Instagram page. scroll below to see some of them.

A bunch of colorful snakes! 🤗 Having some sort of a tight party I guess. I don’t remember the last time I’ve used so many different colors in one drawing lol kinda felt like going all over the place this time. . I’ve made them go under each other by drawing each snake on a new layer, then selecting the bottom layer, and erasing the overlaying parts. 🤯 You can see the whole process video on my YouTube channel and I promise you’ll understand it better haha! . I made this one for the header of my Brushes webpage because I’ve redesigned it lately, 🙃 so you should go check it out on my website! My last food drawing! 😂 I PROMISE! 🍳 Lol it’s just because many of you asked for it when I had that egg on my Story several days ago. So who am I to deny your request? 🤗 Anyway it was fun. Fun little eggy drawing with lots of highlights and shadows to practice. . I see many comments lately about me going a bit more into “realism” and that my style is changing. So yes, my style is slowly changing over time. 🤷‍♂️🙃 I’ve never believed in “finding your own style” and sticking to it. It’s an evolution in my opinion, everything changes. All the time. . Anyway, tomorrow I’m going on a 2 week holiday to JAPAN.✈🤩 super excited about it! I’m gonna be mainly in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka so if some of you guys have any recommendations I’d love to know! ☝ I’ve already made one video ready to post next week so you guys won’t miss me too much while I’m chilling. 😘 Sorry for such a long caption 🙈 I guess I had a lot to say today. .

It’s not what you think it is! 😱 It’s just a little banana who got her mind blown because she came out relatively too orange 🙈🙈 Haha I’ve probably went too far with the shadowing… ✨ The full video will be up on my IGTV channel later today so you can see the detailed process! . Btw I’m so sorry for all the food drawings lately lol not sure where it comes from. I got so many replies to the egg drawing on my Story yesterday so I’m actually planning to make it a video as well soon. 🍳😶 . “Shir started working as a freelance designer from his parents’ basement at the age of 16, and his career took a flight after he moved to Tel Aviv,” his website claims. “There he worked with several creative studios, with Promo and other startups. For the past 3 years, Gal is leading the design at Lemonade, making home insurance a better experience. In addition, Gal is consulting and helping entrepreneurs establishing design thinking. He has given talks and workshops for companies and institutes such as Bezalel Academy.”
