]]>Yusuf is a Nigerian artist who creates jaw-dropping hyperrealistic pencil drawings. He often does portraits and has recently decided to recreate his favorite comedian, Kevin Hart. After finishing the work, the artist shared an impressive drawing of Hart on social media and expressed hope that the actor himself will see it.
Twitter users were so impressed with Yusuf’s work that they started retweeting his post. Then something amazing happened.
Hart himself somehow learned about the young artist and decided to tweet back with an incredible offer.
“I see it, and I want to purchase it,” he wrote. “I also want to support you and your amazing talent by giving you a fee to do a pencil drawing of 3 of my celebrity friends that I can gift it to.”
Since then, Eli Wuduba Yusuf has been amassing followers from all around the world who are sharing his works on social media and want him to do commission work for them. Still, Yusuf put them all on hold, since he’s currently working on the portraits for Hart and wants to do the best job he possibly could.
“I hoped he would see it and actually believed he would see it someday,” –
Yusuf revealed. “But I did not know it would happen so fast. It has been so overwhelming, and words cannot describe it.”
