]]>Swee started his signature Cat Landscape series after deciding to give minimal landscape art a shot. While exploring the curves and shapes of the land, he came to a conclusion they are strangely similar to the curve and shape of the cat and the idea for this project was born.
The Kuala Lumpur-based artist now blends cats with all kinds of different landscapes and often creates playful optical illusions along the way. His cats can often be found napping on the mountain tops, jumping through waves, reaching for the sky, and immersing with nature in all sorts of other ways.
Lim Heng Swee imagines the world where you can find kitties everywhere you go, which is not unlike our own – especially if you’re a cat lover who enjoys being surrounded by feline companions on every turn.

]]>Two years ago, Vernessa started drawing cat comics, not knowing exactly where she will end up. Her inspiration came from two shelter cats she adopted, Koschka and Mikosch. And despite most of her comics insinuate that life with cats is not an easy one, she still says they are wonderful pets.
“My favorite thing about cats is the moment when they want your attention (for a cuddle or something else), it makes you extremely happy when they chose to come to you on their own!” says Vernessa.
