Swedish Artist Creates Wonderful Pixel Art

Johan Karlgren describes himself as a full-time artist and part-time hoarder. Better known as Pappas Pärlor on social media, the Swedish urban artist creates amazing pixel art, making figures using beads and integrating them into urban environments.

“A creation can take me 15 minutes or 2 weeks depending on the occasion. But I prefer stuff that’s quick. I’d rather use as few pixels as possible than go big,” Karlgren told Bored Panda.

The artist shares his work on his Instagram account where he has attracted more than 100 thousand followers. He also sells some of his art, offering you a chance to upgrade your living room.
