Indian Couple Make Miniature Birds From Paper

Vaishali and her partner Nayan are paper artists based in India, whose crafting journey began one year ago. In 2018 they have joined the 365-day challenge of creating Miniature birds using paper and watercolors.

“The concept of this miniatures is to express the intricacy and vibrancy of the birds around us,” Vaishali shared on Bored Panda. “We used the technique of layered paper cutting to give volume to the artworks and get a three-dimensional feel to them. All the artworks are entirely hand cut and hand painted and are made without using any kind of magnifying tools.”

Every single artwork takes between four to eight hours to complete, depending on the details of feathers and coloring.
