Owning a pet comes with its trials and tribulations. Whether it’s a dog, cat, hamster, or any other furry friend, people go to extremes for their fur babies.

From demanding money for a dog’s birthday party to requesting designer dogs for free, these people went into a fit of rage when they didn't get their way. These are some of the most entitled and downright delusional pet owners out there.
Dog Hater
To a lot of dog owners, their pet is like their child. It comes with the same level of responsibility because someone will have to look after them while you’re away.

Calling this response an overreaction is a huge understatement. People have jobs and can’t just drop everything to do someone else’s dog a favor. That doesn’t automatically mean they’re a dog hater! This level of anger was totally unnecessary.
Can’t Rescue Everyone
When you know you’ve got a vacation coming up, things can get pretty desperate trying to find someone to look after a pet—especially finding a good price or making sure that your baby is in safe hands.

This person totally got the wrong idea about what a rescue actually is. It’s like they’re having two completely separate conversations here. It's pretty clear who's in the wrong!
Haggling for a Husky

Reading this you might think they were trying to barter for a used car, not an animal! The seller is being totally calm and friendly, and was met with a horrible reaction, even though they’re right—dogs are expensive.
Volunteer Assignment
Taking on a dog means that you have to be prepared to take care of all the little things they need to survive. A walk every day is basically the bare minimum that a dog needs, but paying a dog walker is totally normal.

It’s a very bold move to ask Facebook for someone to walk your dog every single day of the week unpaid and advertise it as a “volunteer assignment”, even if she is a Queen. The absolute audacity!
One-Star Review
Sometimes, tough situations in life simply can’t be helped. Sure, it’s frustrating to have someone cancel on you, but when their reason is absolutely understandable, the best you can do is have empathy and find a replacement.

To call someone irresponsible for giving three weeks’ notice, when they canceled to go to a funeral, is a completely heartless response to a situation the dog sitter couldn’t even control. We feel even worse that the sitter was so polite about their one-star review.
Needing Therapy and a Dog
They say that dogs are man's best friend. They’re often so much more than a pet, sometimes even lifesavers for people in need. If only it was as easy as asking the people of Facebook for a free dog that somehow fits your very specific requirements.
