Designer Creates Typographic Logos Every Day for a Year

Some designers only work for their clients, others do it for simple fun. And then there are those who do it for a challenge. Stockholm-based graphic designer Daniel Carlmatz was one decided to take on the challenge and create typographic logos every day for an entire year.

Specifically, the challenge was to create a typographic logo for an everyday word. His goal was to try and visualize the words using various elements, such as symbolism and negative space, among others.

The results are definitely something else, especially when you consider that he made one without fail every day for an entire year. It’s safe to say that he definitely won’t be running out of portfolio material anytime soon.
