Can you imagine SpongeBob and Patrick from fan-favorite cartoon SpongeBob Squarepants being the bad guys and doing horrors seen, let’s say, in Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Probably not. However, Swedish artist Daniel Björk easily can.
Björk creates all sorts of disturbing illustrations that feature all our favorite cartoon characters. From previously mentioned SpongeBob and Patrick to Tom & Jerry and Disney’s princes and princesses, nobody is safe from being pushed into a horror scenario by this talented artist.
There is no denying that Björk’s works have the ability to ruin some childhood memories. Some people might not like the fact that Jerry is putting Tom in a Saw-type scenario or that Maggie from The Simpsons is a killer clown out to get the citizens of Springfield. However, horror fans and those who like dark humor will absolutely enjoy them.
