Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann, also known as Zim & Zou on social media, are a French artist duo who create beautiful designs by using paper, wood, and thread.
“Paper inspires them for its versatility, infinite range of colors and unique textures. The flat paper sheets turned into volume are giving an installation the poetry of ephemeral material,” write the artists on their personal website.
Zim & Zoum worked with many well-known brand names, like Hermès, IBM, and Microsoft. In their latest project, the artistic duo teamed up with Nobel Prize Museum of Sweden to create a series of scenes from famous literary works, titled Sharing Worlds. They also created installations based on two books Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset, and One Hundred Years of Solitude written by the famous Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
