Illustrator Matt Dixon loves robots and has been working on his robotic series called Transmission for 13 years now.
“I’ve been enthusiastically waving crayons, brushes, and pens for as long as I can remember,” the artist wrote on Bored Panda. “I’m often asked about the meaning behind the paintings, but I don’t have an answer. The world of the robots is slowly being revealed one image at a time and any meaning is as mysterious to me as to anyone else. I love to learn what meaning if any, the viewers find in the images.”
The images have been collected into four books, with a fifth volume, Transmissions 5, currently up for funding on Kickstarter.
