Illustrator Daiana Ruiz is incredibly skilled at creating art that celebrates the strength of women. Her subjects are women who aren’t afraid to live their best life, which is something most of us aspire to.
Ruiz is inspired by women in her home city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The thriving nightlife scene gives her a chance to see many different people and to get inspiration from women she regularly sees there.
“The lights at night, the music—I like to represent women living these scenes,” Brown Paper Bag quotes her. She’s often fascinated by the way these women dress. “I think fashion is an art that allows us to design ourselves and express what happens in a specific time of our life,” the artist says.
