Artist Creates Remarkable Paper Cut Art

Parth Kothekar is paper cut artist from Ahmedabad, India who has been experimenting with paper art for the last six years. In order to challenge himself, Kothekar comes up with a thematic series of artworks from time to time.

“I have seen that almost every culture in India, throughout time, has left its mark through heritage architecture,” he shared on Bored Panda. “Such a level of intricacy carved into stones during a period that had no modern tools inspired a sense of reverence in me. I wished to portray these ornate vintage motifs side to side with the timeless intricate beauty of Mother Nature.”

According to the artist, each artwork is cut out with a craft knife and takes him around 15 days to complete.
