The J. Safra Group and Foster + Partners are planning to build a new skyscraper in London called The Tulip. They have submitted an application to the City of London Corporation, and if everything goes well, the UK capital will have a new landmark by 2025.
The building’s location will be next to the Gherkin. It will be 1001.7 ft (305.3 m) high and have a glass structure allowing for magnificent views of the city. One of the key features will be something called “A classroom in the sky”, which is an educational facility at the building’s top that will offer 20,000 free places for the school children.
