]]> Dealing with depression, anxiety or any mental illness can be tough, and artist, Sow Ay knows, this first hand. The illustrator and graphic designer has been living with mental illness for years now.

He describes himself on his Instagram profile as a mental ghost fighter, nerd, drummer, and noise maker who loves to draw.

“I started these drawings because I’m really bad at explaining those thoughts, and explaining by drawing has always been a lot easier for me”, Ay wrote on Bored Panda. “And mental illness brings many weird and dark thoughts in my head.”

On his Instagram account, where he has gained over 7k followers, he draws his comics in English, while for his French audience he started a blog called sow.ay.fr. where they can enjoy his work in French.
